1) MST3K Mantra Law: Have fun, it’s a game. We encourage serious CR, but it is a game, intended for everyone to enjoy it. Don’t take things too seriously, treat the other players and mods with respect, and keep disagreements civil. Harassment or abuse of other players makes for very unhappy mods, and we will look into complaints of such and take them very seriously.

2) Our character limit is six; we may occasionally allow exceptions, but those are extremely special cases where we’re not likely to allow anything over the limit unless you’re active with the existing ones enough to justify it.

3) We allow a single player to play multiple characters from the same canon so long as they’re not likely to directly interact a great deal. Passing recognition is alright, playing both sides of a close partnership isn’t. On that note, particularly with the current scale of things, minor playercest is allowable, but try to keep it to a minimum and don’t abuse it.

4) No godmodding or infomodding. You cannot dictate the actions of someone else’s character, unavoidable or inescapable scenarios require the permission of the other MUN, and your character can only act on information they would logically and reasonably have IC.

5) IC actions = IC consequences. Some plots are dangerous, and some characters in the Manor are dangerous; if your character gets into something they can’t get themselves out of and you don’t want it going horrific, it is okay to ask for outside intervention, but walking up to a giant lava death dragon and insulting it will probably end in a lava bath. Plot-related dangers will be announced so that you know you're getting into something dangerous, and we do encourage players of more powerful/volatile characters to have permissions posts and communicate.

6) We encourage player plots, just clear it with us and allow some time for planning for plots that will involve a good chunk of the population or require volunteers – killing sprees, booby traps, and the like. If something happens in a normal thread that damages or destroys a public area, or affects the environment, an OOC post letting people know what’s up is appreciated.

7) Breaking the Fourth Wall: NEVER NOT ALLOWED. …Yeah who’re we kidding. This is a setting that is made of Meta and Fourth Wall Painting, and we have events occasionally that allow people access to their canon and those of others; just be respectful and make sure the other MUN is okay with it.
